Managed GCC : Your Global Capability Center. Set up, run, and handed over.

Global Capability Center · build, operate, transfer

A GCC is your own center — your people, your systems, your IP — not a vendor’s. Golonex, headquartered in New Jersey with an operating branch in India, sets it up inside your controls, runs it under a named GCC lead, and hands it to your own leadership when you are ready.

The seat, plus a team, at full scale. A GCC composes the other managed practices — talent, infrastructure, the Microsoft estate, security assurance, software, automation — under one accountable GCC lead.

What we set up

Six things a center needs before it can deliver.

Each one is scoped with you, built inside your tenant and your controls, and documented so it outlives whoever built it.

Operating model & site

What the center does, what stays at HQ, the city, remote-first or a facility, and the entity model — scoped with you and coordinated with your legal and tax advisers. We run the plan; they own the structure.

The team

Hired, vetted, and supervised through managed talent: engineers, operators, analysts, and support, with India-based leads who report to the Golonex GCC lead and, through them, to you.

The technology estate

Your tenant extended, not forked: identity, devices, network, cloud, and tooling set up through managed infrastructure and the managed Microsoft ecosystem, so the center runs inside your controls from day one.

Security & compliance

A data-flow design that says what may move and what may not — CUI and ITAR work stays in the United States — with the center held to ISO 27001, DPDP, and whatever your customers require. Security assurance proves it.

Delivery governance

Objectives, a reporting rhythm with HQ, escalation tiers in writing, and one monthly report. The center works to your priorities; the Golonex lead answers for the outcome.

Transition

Build, operate, transfer — or stay managed. When you are ready, your own leadership takes the seat and the team, with the documentation and the rhythm already in place.

How it runs

Scope, stand up, operate, transfer.

01

Scope

Which functions move, which stay, the first-year headcount, and the constraints — regulatory, customer, and contractual. A written plan before anything is hired or signed.

02

Stand up

The operating model agreed, your advisers engaged on entity and tax, the tenant and controls extended, the first seats hired and working — with a Golonex GCC lead in the chair.

03

Operate

The center runs under the Golonex lead: hiring continues, delivery reports monthly, the estate and the controls are maintained, and HQ sees one number and one name.

04

Transfer, or stay

Leadership moves to your own people on a schedule you set, or the center stays managed. Either way nothing resets: the people, the systems, and the evidence are yours throughout.

What may move

Decided first, function by function.

For a regulated firm the question is not whether a center is possible but which work it may hold. We answer that before anything is hired: CUI, ITAR, and US-person work stays in the United States; the rest is scoped, with the data flows drawn and the controls proven.

  • Headquartered in New Jersey with an operating branch in India — one firm on both ends of the arrangement
  • The center is built inside your tenant, your identity, and your controls — not on a vendor’s platform
  • What may move is decided first: CUI, ITAR, and US-person work stays in the United States, by design
  • One accountable Golonex lead, fixed seat pricing, one monthly report — the same shape as every practice

In the DoD supply chain? The CMMC readiness review draws the CUI boundary the center has to respect. Operating in India? The India page covers DPDP and the DPO of record the center will need.

Who runs it

A GCC lead, and the team the center needs.

A center is a team by definition. What changes with size is how many function leads sit under the Golonex GCC lead.

Option one

A GCC lead with a pilot pod

One named Golonex GCC lead running a first pod of seats — enough to prove the model before the center scales.

Fits when

  • A first pod of seats to prove the model
  • One function moving before the others
  • A center that starts remote-first, before a facility
Option two

A dedicated team

The GCC lead, India-based function leads, an HQ-side project manager, and the seats under them — the full center.

Fits when

  • Several functions standing up at once
  • A facility, a tenant extension, and hiring running in parallel
  • A dated transfer to your own leadership
  • Round-the-clock coverage from the center

Always a team: the stand-up. Operating model, entity coordination, tenant and controls, and the first hires run on one timeline, and that takes several hands at once.

Either way, one named lead answers for it — and reports to you every month.

FAQ

Managed GCC — your questions, answered

Is this outsourcing? +

No. A Global Capability Center is your own center: your people, your systems, your IP, working to your priorities. Golonex sets it up, runs it under a named GCC lead until you are ready, and hands it over. Outsourcing moves work to a vendor; a GCC moves it to you.

Do you form the legal entity? +

No — Golonex is not a law or tax firm. Entity structure, tax, and employment arrangements are your advisers’ work. We coordinate them, keep the plan on one timeline, and can start the first seats as managed talent under Golonex while your entity is being formed, then transfer them.

Can regulated work move to the center? +

Some of it. The scoping step decides, function by function: CUI, ITAR, and anything your contracts require to be US-person work stays in the United States. What does move is held to ISO 27001, DPDP, and your customers’ requirements, with security assurance proving it.

How long does it take to stand up? +

It depends on the entity route and the first functions. The scoping produces a dated plan; the first seats can be working under Golonex before the entity exists, so the center starts delivering while the structure is completed.

Who runs it day to day? +

A named Golonex GCC lead, with India-based function leads under them and a project manager on the HQ side. You deal with one person who answers for the center, not with individual hires.

How is it priced? +

Fixed monthly pricing by seat — the GCC lead, the function leads, and each team seat — set before the month starts. Setup work is scoped as a team for the stand-up period. No figures are published; the number is set on the first call.
