Managed talent : A supervised seat, not a résumé.

When the seat needs more hands, it brings managed talent: a vetted engineer plus a named supervisor who understands the problem and owns the communication. You describe the work; we run the seat. On its own, or under a Fractional Leadership seat — this is how it works.

How it works

You describe the problem. We run the seat.

01

You describe the problem

Not a job title — the work, the gaps, the deadline, the systems it touches. If you are already a seat client, the seat-holder already knows most of it.

02

We propose the seat and the supervisor

The engineer who will do the work and the supervisor who understands the problem, owns the communication, and will be your single point of contact. Both named, within five business days.

03

The supervisor runs it

Priorities, hand-offs, escalation, and the weekly check-in. You talk to one person who translates between your team and the engineer, in both directions.

04

The seat reviews it

Where you also hold a leadership seat with Golonex, the seat-holder reviews the managed seat monthly — quality, velocity, and whether the work still matches the plan.

What a managed seat includes

The engineer, the supervisor, and the rhythm.

  • A named, vetted engineer in the specialisation you need
  • A named supervisor who understands the problem and owns the communication
  • A weekly written check-in and one monthly report to you
  • Onboarding, NDA, and access logistics handled by Golonex
  • Overlapping hours with your team, agreed before the seat starts
  • We hire, manage, review, and replace — you never manage an individual engineer
  • A six-month minimum for a single engineer seat; three to six months for a team, set by the scope of the work — then it renews
Six practices

Pick the problem, not the job title.

Managed talent is organised by what you are trying to get done. Each practice has its own supervision model, and the supervisor proposes the seats that fit.

How it is engaged

One seat, several seats, or a team.

Fixed monthly pricing by seat, dedicated or fractional. Every seat comes with a named Golonex supervisor who owns the communication; you never manage an individual engineer.

A single seat

One named engineer in the specialisation you need, plus the supervisor. Six-month minimum, then it renews.

Several seats

Two or more engineers across one or more practices, under one supervisor, working to your priorities. Priced per seat.

A team you want Golonex to run

When you want Golonex to own delivery rather than supply seats, that is managed software delivery: a dedicated team with a Golonex lead. Three to six months by scope.

FAQ

Managed talent — your questions, answered

What does “supervised” actually mean? +

Every managed seat comes with a supervisor — a senior engineer or delivery lead who understands the problem you are solving, sets the engineer’s priorities, reviews the work, and owns the communication with your team. You do not manage the engineer; you talk to the supervisor. That is the difference between a managed seat and a résumé.

How is the engineer vetted? +

Three stages before anyone joins a team: a technical assessment matched to the specialisation, a communication and remote-working assessment, and reference checks from at least two prior engagements. The supervisor is drawn from engineers who have already run seats successfully. You do not interview developers — the team is ours to hire, manage, and replace.

How quickly can a seat start? +

We propose the seat and the supervisor within five business days of understanding the problem. From an accepted proposal to first day of work is typically five business days — offer acceptance, background verification, NDA, and onboarding to your tools.

What if the seat is not working out? +

Tell the supervisor. Most issues are communication or priority problems and get fixed in the same week. If the engineer is the wrong fit, we replace them at no additional cost. Hiring, managing, reviewing, and replacing is our job, not yours.

Do engineers work on-site, remote, or hybrid? +

All three, agreed during scoping. Seats are staffed from the United States or India — US-based and US-person-only seats for regulated work — and India-based seats work with overlapping hours. US seats can work on-site where the work needs it. The working arrangement is written into the proposal, not assumed after the seat starts.

Can we bring a managed engineer in-house permanently? +

Yes, with a conversion fee that is in the agreement from the start. We prefer long-term managed seats, but if it works and you want them on your payroll, we facilitate the transition without obstruction.

How is managed talent priced? +

Fixed monthly pricing by seat. A managed team is a dedicated delivery team under a Golonex project manager, dedicated or fractional; a Golonex engineering lead is a fractional seat with a team under them. A single engineer seat carries a six-month minimum; a team three to six months, set by the scope of the work. You know the number before the month starts.

Is managed talent only for companies that hold a leadership seat? +

No. Managed seats stand on their own. But where you also hold a Fractional Leadership seat, the seat-holder reviews the managed seat monthly and the work is scoped against the same plan — which is where the model works best.

Get started

Tell us the problem, not just the role.

Share the work, the gaps, and the deadline. We come back within five business days with a supervised seat proposal — the engineer, the supervisor, and how communication runs.
