How is this different from managed infrastructure? +

Who has production access? +
Only the engineers in the seat, with access you grant through your own identity provider. Changes go through a reviewed plan, and production actions are logged so the evidence exists if an assessor asks.
Can the team be US-person-only? +
Yes. For CMMC and DFARS environments where Controlled Unclassified Information is in scope, seats can be staffed with US persons only.
